Counseling Center Referral Service
Should you wish to contact a mental health provider in the community, we can help. You may search our online Community Provider Database for a mental health provider suitable to your needs.
If you are a student and are at risk in any way (e.g., considering suicide or at risk of other physical harm), we urge you to phone the Counseling Center right away and ask for an emergency appointment. If you are a student and need help after hours, please call the CAPS Help Line at 239-745-3277
or if you are not a current student, we recommend the following resources:
- National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (1-800-273-TALK)
- Call 911, or go to the nearest hospital emergency department
The providers participating in the database supply their own information about their services. We cannot guarantee the accuracy,
completeness, or timeliness of the information provided. We are also unable to endorse any particular provider that is listed. It will be important to verify information with the provider that most interests you, including fees and other arrangements. Contact your insurance company if you need to ensure that the clinician you select is a participating provider.
